When my photographer friend Lydia Woosley asked me to take photos of her baby announcement, I jumped at the chance. Lydia is a natural in front of the lens and a pure joy to be around. Which sucks for me since she just moved to Michigan. We barely had time to carve out a few hours before they hopped a plane to their new snow covered home. Lydia’s husband, Jason got a offer he couldn’t refuse so as of a few days ago, they are no longer Floridians.
I’m glad we got the chance to run around downtown one last time. I had a fun, she had fun and some stranger had fun too. He offered to hold the reflector for us as I dodged traffic while shooting from the middle of the street. Good times! Notice one of the last shots – Lydia is pregnant and can still get more air than me. What’s up with that???
As you can see, Lydia is having a boy. This will be their third boy. Max and Cooper will now both be ‘the older boys’ while Lydia and Jason develop parenting strategies based on zone control. With the announcement of their new addition, Lydia decided to put her photography business on hold and concentrate on documenting her own family. Her blog, The Woosley Adventures, has a whole new look so be sure to check it out. These Florida boys haven’t seen snow before, so it should be pretty fun.
Absolutely love it Amy!

Another son! I am so happy for you. I trust you will raise those boys to be great dancers!
